Reflection:
The Fox has an undeserved reputation for being a sly trickster.
Perhaps this notoriety derives from centuries of eluding horse and hound across the English countryside on those time-honored hunts.* Or maybe it’s because their close proximity to human habitation (i.e. fields and farms) has led to more than one lost chicken from the coop.
In truth, the Fox tends to be shy, aloof and very adept at blending into his or her environment to not only survive, but thrive.
The Fox crosses your path today to share with you the secret of its success — agility in mind, body and spirit. It’s possible that you’ll soon face a change in plans or a sudden development in your career or work situation which will call for quick thinking to find a successful resolution or solution. Remember that resourcefulness has its roots in due diligence, where hard work and preparation meet natural ability, talent or skill.
Just be mindful that you stay in touch with your “why” for putting in all those long hours. Is your ambition rooted in selfish motives, or are you driven to provide the best for those you love?
“I believe luck is preparation meeting opportunity. If you hadn’t been prepared when the opportunity came along, you wouldn’t have been lucky.”
~ Oprah Winfrey
