If eyes really are windows to the soul, then Stars might be “windows” to the divine.
The ancient Egyptians studied the movement of Stars to track the orderly passage of seasons and predict the annual flooding of the Nile River. For millennia sailors used Stars in the night sky to help them navigate across the open seas.
And as children we were taught to wish upon a Star.
We look up to the “heavens” while Stars shine “down” on us (as above, so below).
All of which goes to show that even before recorded history their guiding light has enabled us to make sense of our world and helped us to find our way home (both figuratively and literally speaking).
Stars appear here to let you know that you’re on the right track and everything is working out for the best as you move toward completion of your goal, dream, project or mission. They gently remind you that you’re never alone while on the spiritual path, and that all the drama and difficulty of daily life shrinks to nothing when viewed from the proper perspective.
“For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.”
~ Vincent van Gogh
