If eyes really are windows to the soul, then Stars might be “windows” to infinity.
The ancient Egyptians studied the movement of Stars to track the orderly passage of seasons in order to predict the annual flooding of the Nile River. For millennia sailors used Stars in the night sky to help them navigate across the open seas.
And as children we were taught to “wish upon a Star.”
We look up to the “heavens” while Stars shine “down” on us (as above, so below).
All of which goes to show that even before recorded history their guiding light has enabled us to make sense of our world and helped us to find our way home (both figuratively and literally).
Today Stars appear before you to let you know that you’re on the right track. Everything is working out for the best as you move towards the completion of a goal, project, mission or the realization of a dream.
Stars are also here to gently remind you that you’re never alone as you continue along your own unique path. They ask you to remember that all of the drama and difficulty of daily life shrinks to nothing when viewed from the proper perspective.
“For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.”
~ Vincent van Gogh

Some questions to guide your meditation:
- Of what do you dare to dream?
- Do you take time to pray or meditate each day?
- If you could wish for one thing what would it be?
- How would your life change should your wish be granted?
